Embria is a tricky, chaotic, and benevolent immortal. She's well-meaning and reliable in a crisis, with a flair for drama and intrigue. She's an excellent friend but a frustrating enemy, thanks to her ability to project hologram-type illusions and impersonate anybody she chooses. Fortunately, she almost always uses her powers for good, and is constantly coming to the rescue of other immortals - and the humans, when she gets mixed up in Ry and Sinon's plans once again. She just can't resist the temptation to stir up trouble and solve some problems in the process.PAST
You name the place, Embria's lived there, and probably purchased an old building to refurbish during her stay. Her latest project was an antiquated French castle, which she and her counterpart Maica donated to an orphanage. Now they've both moved back to America to check in on their immortal friends, seeking out some fun and wild new adventures. Ten years ago, she participated in Harriet's team of misfits, and she's back for another round. Embria has modeled many of Maica's fashion designs (illusioning herself into a different person every time), but right now, she's setting aside her human career to focus on more serious business.POWERS AND ABILITIES
Embria's illusion and impersonation powers are highly effective, but she has limits: she can't change her eye color, although she can wear contacts, and she can't illusion herself to be shorter than she is. The illusion usually falls apart if someone gets close enough to touch her, but from a distance, it's foolproof. In fights and duels, she uses a crowbar and makes use of her teleporting and portal-forming abilities.DESIGN NOTES: Primary
Embria's sense of fashion is fun and eye-catching, adventurous and colorful, balancing tomboyish and feminine aspects. Her primary outfit can shift between a skirt and pants version, and her many pieces of jewelry reflect her eclectic style. The leather pouch strapped to her leg is a pocket dimension bag, capable of storing much more than its size suggests. The elegant mosaic pattern throughout her outfit represents her love of art, beauty, and the finer things in life.DESIGN NOTES: Alternate
This outfit is much more casual. It features a lightly patterned shirt and cropped pants, with only a few pieces of jewelry, heeled boots, and a different version of her signature pocket dimension bag. It's a simpler look, but captures her distinctive style.DESIGN NOTES: Defining Traits
Embria's palette is blue, peach orange, and rose pink. Her most consistent design traits are a jacket with elbow-length sleeves, faded color gradients, short heeled ankle boots, and the bag that straps to her leg. She also always wears numerous pieces of gold jewelry.CREDITS
